My family went from SNES to PS2 and never got a N64. Years later, I found this at a yard sale for $50. Couldn’t be more excited to dive in (especially Super Mario 64)!

Blast Corps is underrated, I had a blast with that game

I wasn’t allowed to play video games when the N64 was released and only got to play Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time on DS / 3DS. I immediately understood the hype.

  4. Sarges Heroes is a classic! Loved that game. Easily logged hundreds of hours on Super Mario 64 as well

Don’t forget the Turok games. Guilty pleasure for me.

The Donkey Kong 3d game is really good but you need the expansion thingy that plugs into the controller or it will lag like a bitch.

  8. I had a Ps1, a friend was saving to buy one and suddenly bought a N64. Like 2 months later, saw him in campus with a friend, went to say hello and he tells me he’s selling the N64 to buy a Ps1 (odd but I didn’t said anything). He told me, for $100, console, one controller and 2 games. Out of curiosity I asked what games and he said, Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time. As soon as I heard OoT I told him bring it to me tomorrow.

Good fuckin luck with Blast Corps. It’s fun, but it ramps up in difficulty to a ridiculous degree. Or at least I thought so 27 yrs ago
