For a second there I thought it was Dark Souls/Elden Ring.
Oh. It’s a tough one. Beautiful game with amazing story. But such a difficult gameplay. The survival aspect and symbol drawings… it’s very unic.
Having played this a few times it was very interesting from a visual perspective but I struggled to stay invested. Reminded me artistically of Demon’s Souls in a way that’s hard to describe.
“The Void” is actually a dumbed down version of the game with castrated characters. You should try “Tension” release (it was made for Poland but it’s possible to find unofficial English localisation). It’s a bit harder mechanically, though.
I hope that some day MandaloreGaming does a video on The Void. He’s done videos on Pathologic, another of Ice Pick Lodge’s works, and IIRC he expressed interest in eventually doing a video on The Void.
