Probably gonna take a guess and say it was from the Mark II

Im pretty sure it’s because you walked INTO the mark II, the area is pretty small but since you where hugging the zombie you pretty much shot yourself
Ray gun mk2 does have a small area of splash damage one burst will fuck you up if you’re too close
so many players asking this back to back, actually funny (it’s the splash damage)

I think its because a zombie jumped off the roof pretty much right in front of you and so you took alot o splasho damage
Yeah probably a combo of the splash damage and the zombie jumping on ur head
