I would remove the drive cage.

Or if you do need the drive cage, chop off the bit that gets in the way.

Just yank the cage or dremel the space needed out.

what century is this case from?

  6. It’s time to upgrade that clunker from 2008.

Boi if we’re sporting 3080’s and 3090’s I feel like we can do better on the case front

  8. XxMohamed92xX

Im gonna have the same issue upgrading from my 1080, got to find a 2 fan gpu that isnt too long

  9. Time to bring out the dremel. I assume you bought that case for a reason, riding the train for 4 hours, so I would suggest cutting the back halves off the GPU’s to spare the case. Between the 3080 and 3090 halved, you should still have about RTX3085 performance which isn’t half bad. Or in this case is half, at that point, idk

That case looks like it came from the 90s… time for a new case. You can get big ones cheap enough.

A full ATX can never be wrong.

OP when buying 2000 dollars worth of gpu: ye boi let’s go

OP when buying a 40 dollar case to upgrade 20th century relic: *absolutely fucking not*

Grab Pliers and a dream, you got this champ

  15. konterpein

i used to have the same thing, I smashed the drive slot then put my 6700xt but then the case side won’t fit with the gpu cable connected, so i just save $18 to buy new mid case

  16. NiceCunt91

That case looks older than a lot of the people here.

  17. singe725

Damn that sucks. I’ll take them off your hands since clearly there’s nothing you can do

  18. Thruthful

“Now where is that Dremel I bought two years ago?”

  19. ConstantineMonroe

If you are gonna splurge on the GPUs, you might as well get a better case

  20. FarmingFrenzy

You can probablt grind that 1/2 cm with an angle grinder off the gpu and it should still work fine. The impoetant stiff is at the center

  21. Kanatsiz_Kus

if i were you. i would definietly get pissed off by this. it looks annoying to me

  22. Nknights23

Just buy a new case? Shouldn’t really be an issue for you seeing as you’re holding 4grand in gpus

  23. msanangelo

ehh, who needs a drive cage, anyhow. just ziptie those ssds. 😛

  24. Wildestridez

I was able to fit a 4080 super into the NR200 case lemme tell u I was sweating bullets getting it in

  25. Open-Comedian9342

That case has zero airflow from the looks of it. Buy yourself a $100 modern case with good airflow, hidden psu, and wire management and thank yourself everyday after that
