    Right click desktop, view, uncheck show desktop icons. I only see my desktop on reboot.

    My desktop is just nothing, black screen, hide taskbar, hide desktop icons including trash.

    Every once and a while I’ll do “sort by type” but I’m not obsessive about it.

    I’m guessing this is 10 because they removed the sidebar support in 11. It saddens me because I loved the side bar

    I used to do this hahah now I like to keep my desktop clean… much easier to hit the windows key and type something

    I don’t have a single shortcut desktop icon. The first thing that happens is they get deleted, and program gets pinned to taskbar if it sees frequent use.

    I throw everything into a folder called “Desktop”… on the desktop.

    idk if im a genius or if i’m an idiot.

    I hide them all. When I want to run something then I just press the Windows key and type the app name

    Yeah… except I don’t have them uniform on my desktop. I turned on free placement, and stuffed them into darker parts of the background image.
