Would I benefit from installing this noctua NF-A15 HS-PWN fan as an exhaust fan in the roof of my case.
I cannot fit the second fan that came with my NH-D15 on the front of the heatsink as there is not enough space between the tempered glass panel on my case and my ram sticks. I cannot place it on the back either, because there is not enough space between the motherboard heatsink and the tempered glass panel.
I can screw it on the top of the case above the cpu heatsink. Would this benefit me in any way? It's not that my components run hot, it just feels bad having a high end pc fan just sitting in a box.

yeah top exhaust would be fine. intake would be fine too. put it where ever it fits. high quality fan.
Eat it
I’ll take it. I don’t got a pc but I’ll take it.

make 100$ desk fan out of it
upper fans are stupid idea if not liquid coolin system ones. You create negative pressure by blowing air out in more than 1 direction. There just must be one line of air flow from front to back through cpu cooler tower
Why ask? You’re not a _fan_ of them?
Double it and give it to the next person.
Trust me – your CPU Cooler is in an highly need of 1-2 more fans!
Keep it as a back up? Fans occasionally break after a while
Write on it “My Numer.1 Fan” and hang it on the wall above your display
I would take it 🙂 if u dont need it, I am actually trying to build a pc on prime day.
Mount it as a top exhaust
Keep it under your desk to cool your balls.
I’m serious.
Mount it under the table between your legs.
It goes on your CPU cooler.
Turn it on and try to be darth vader.
Eat it.
Can you not flip the D15 over the other way? The heatsink will be over the RAM rather than the fan?
Or is it entirely symmetrical both sides?
Strap it to ur gaming chair and cool your head.
You will need it of you playing games like r6,apex,and other ones with cheaters and bad servers.
This is sad
