This is a great video and great post.
I saw the rules discussion.
This post belongs here, imo.
Using one of the biggest and most recent gaming titles related to this topic as a backdrop to get more eyeballs on one of the core concepts of cyberpunk shouldn’t be admonished. I wouldn’t have checked this absolute banger of a video if my lizard brain didn’t see the 2077 yellow and click it.
Alright, I’ve braced myself. Bring on the downvotes.

This is an interesting video. It has nothing to do with 2077 specifically if that bothers you.
Edit: Very little to do with 2077 anyway.

I love it when intelligent and experienced individuals take a non-biased critique of systems, and philosophies. It’s a wonderful educational piece. Going in my best playlists.

As an industrial designer, I wonder how to decentralize innovation? The thing is that products are affordable because the manufacturing is centralized. Producing a lot of products at one place makes things feasible. However, maybe there is a possibility that products are manufactured all over the world by 3-D printers and the like and that the development is done by a great open source team?!

Rule number 6 is the only rule followed by this sub, I see so many posts that break all the other rules but no one is ever obnoxiously posting “Rule 2! Rule 4! Rule 5!”
