Omnidirectional movement on players is a huge movement buff! And when there’s movement buffs, Zombies get movement buffs too! How do you think Treyarch would handle the new zombie buffs?

It’s not really a buff when this is applied to all AI. It’s just a wash.

Maybe we’ll get a new perk that takes advantage of the new movement system. Similar to how they changed PHD flopper to PHD slider.

Maybe something similar to the electric zombies in AW that cut off your exp suit momentarily. Like maybe a zombie that has an attack that momentarily reduces speed? But honestly I don’t think the movement system will change up zombies that much. It’s more of a PvP thing. Why would you dive around and shoot zombies? Sounds like an easy way to get your self killed trying to record clips.

just please for the love of god, keep the zombie AI simple. that’s what makes Zombies so much fun, it’s because the movement patterns and spawns of the zombies are always predictable.

I like BO4 zombies but one thing I don’t like is how unpredictable the game can feel sometimes. The spawns use some advanced AI shit to predict where you’re gonna be going and they spawn zombies based off of that, which hurts the experience imo, it makes reading the spawns and movement much harder and I don’t like it.

If they bring back perk upgrades, I’m wondering what they will add to staminup now that we can sprint backwards.

I’d be down for the zombies dolphin diving, as long as my character doesn’t get stuck on them. Make the players automatically side step or something.

Give the zombies a double jump, have them wall run and dolphin dive your ankles.

Kinda off topic but does omnidirectional movement allow for tac sprint in all directions? Would be a bit odd imo

Since it’ll be on dedicated servers, we’ll probably have way more zombies on the map itself

Bro people are glorifying this as if this was new when there’s a number of games that have this same mechanic. It’s gonna be a total shit show. But at least movement will be fluent I hope

I hate how fast zombies have moved since bo4-cw.

We need a defensive perk that can slow them down like widows wine, or winters wail.

Can’t wait for blundel to surprise return and force an EE step with you have to north-west sprint dive through a corrupted keepers left tooth gap to get to PaP

I think it would be cool if one of the additions would be stamin-up being able to switch from standing/crouching/prone/sliding really fast. Could synergy really well with a theoretical wonder weapon that changes functions depending on how close you are to the ground. Maybe sprinting into zombies from the side shoulder bashes them, making them fall down for a bit. Maybe crawlers get reworked, trading damage for slowing you down and locking you out from omnimovement from a certain direction depending on what side they’re latched onto you. Maybe they just go back to a 2-3 hit down system but make the attacks slower and only do damage at certain positions. E.G. a normal swipe won’t hurt you if you crouch, a low swipe won’t hit you if you prone, a stomp will only damage prone players, a low swipe can be avoided by jumping. The attack used depends on what position the player is in when the zombie attacked, with multiple telegraphs on each attack to keep players on their toes. This would make the game harder but reward people for figuring out the system and make being completely swallowed by a horde more survivable if a player is good enough.
