Yes, I have had this happen before. I was killed by a cheater, I called him out about it in the lobby chat and my game crashed with that same error code less than a minute later.
One guy did this to me on Verdansk, and he said he was going to hack me after I killed him, 5 seconds later I DC’d. I was pretty freaked out.
But it happened again an hour later….and again. Turns out I just had a dodgy ethernet cable.
Probably just a coincidence OP.
This game is honestly such a mess it’s so sad. I wonder if it will be this bad when BO6 launches…

The people in this comment section haven’t got a clue at what’s happening here. This pop up happens when your game crashes. A DDoS attack will not crash your game like this.
A DDoS attack will disconnect you from the server and you’ll be kicked from the game and taken to the lobby. Additionally, it wouldn’t be possible for the ‘cheater’ to find your IP address because you’re connected to a server that handles everything in between. If games were player hosted (peer to peer) then they’d be able to know if you were the host. As the game is hosted from an Activision server that’s not the case.
There’s a few possible answers:
1. They did something to the game like placing down too many items like a sentry gun which can overload the server (a massive issue in Zombies)
2. They were extremely lucky with their timing and your game just die at the perfect time.
3. They have hacking tools which are fairly advanced to a point they have a lot of control over the current game which again makes me think they might even have tools to overload the server in some way which might cause crashes.
Ultimately it’s difficult to know what happened here but some of these comments saying they’ve decrypted the mainframe and blockchained you by rerouting the discombobulater are hilarious and wrong.

This happened to me too. I didn’t know why. I wasn’t paying attention to why I thought it was just a glitchc. Its only happened once.

Been happening to me for months bought a new cpu and ram since that’s what I was told was faulty only to crash repeatedly on warzone. Can play every other game just fine!
I mean at this point make all these cheats available for everyone at least we will all have the same access.
Close all hide apps,Aida64,wallpaper engine,MSI afterburner,Google chrome. And dont use AMD Antilag. Thats work to me.

yep…happened to me in zombies trying to mess around at exfil for some more DNA strands before the timer…. two dudes came over and told me to leave and I said go piss off and one guy goes later bro…. and boom kicked back to the xbox home screen….I didn’t lose anything was just doing the weekly challenges quick…jokes on him

there was a expose cheater video that specifically had this cheater’s recording up, and they kicked a person off the MP ranked server. but we can’t be sure what this is or what’s avail now
