Obviously only aesthetical but still begs the question, why does xmp make my RGB go haywire? Everytime it displays something different, right now my ram is frozen. I'll attach a picture. Any ideas?

Im not sure but im guessing its because of voltages or something
Why do you think its xmp and not a software update?
Does it fix itself temporarily after reboot?
Have you tried entering in the xmp numbers manually?
Some xmp are unstable, you should try to tweak those memories sticks manually
