I was working at some kind of Javascript conference when this happened, so I unfortunately couldn't strike up a conversation. He spent very little time in the VIP area and was mostly in the crowd chatting with people. When he gave his talk he seemed very cool and confident so it was easy for me to follow, despite having no programming background. 10/10 dude, great smile & great vibes

I used to work at a gaming event and John Romero was there one year and I gave him his wristband, and I shit you not it’s the only time in my life I’ve ever been starstruck. I don’t even really know why, I like Doom but it’s not one of my favourite games or anything, I’ve met other celebrities and been pretty fine about it, but for some reason Romero just has a presence that left me speechless.

Didn’t even get a chance to 1v1 him? Dang.

  4. I just realized how much he looks like Steve Wozniak
