Had xpass in PC for a bit. It was exciting to have that many games to try at anytime, and if you play and want to play many different games it’s pretty cool.
However I realized I barely play games anymore, and when I do I prefer to buy a very few specific ones and just use the monthly money to outright buy games I actually want to play instead of staying subscribed.

Does the Ultimate Game Pass trick still work, where if you load up your account with say 3 years of regular game pass, and then you upgrade by buying 1 month of Ultimate, it converts your 3 years to Ultimate?

I get the love with game pass (access to a bunch of games) but why would I get it, when they arent adding older games and not making more games backwards compatible?
Especially when Xbox is not doing well with exclusives? Like there has been very little games that have come out and been Xbox exclusives that have had me excited to play them/own an xbox
