I am a creature of habit so i will only switch when it actually happens.

That said once the adblockers are gone i am switching instantly to FF. Trying to use the internet without adblock is truly horrifying.

I actually swapped to Edge a bit ago.

My PC died and I saw some reviews about Edge using less damn RAM and being faster and thought eh, why not. Turns out it’s pretty neat. Stuck with it.

No clue if it’s still faster or uses less RAM, but I aint changing again lol.

Tried Mozilla, works way worse for me. Random bug with pages fully locking(you can’t refresh or anything, it just fails to load), in jitsi my microphone stopped working randomly 2 weeks ago, my VPN extension works 10 times less stable in Mozilla too, so I just gave up.

This is exactly what I did half a year ago. If you force ads my way and slow down YouTube to the point it’s almost impossible to use, it won’t make me buy the subscription, or turn down my ad blocker. No. I will just uninstall your crappy browser and use something else.

Not a single problem since I moved to Firefox and uBlock.

I’m using edge for 2 years now, yeah I said it

It was time for me when my adblocker stopped working for YouTube when I was on Chrome.

Opera GX here with uBlock and I have 0 problems.

It might be Chromium based, but it doesn’t eat my RAM sticks raw and has features I can appreciate.

It’s like YouTube disabling adblock. They keep trying, but they don’t succeed.

Once YT started getting pushy with ad blockers I switched to Firefox and ublock origin and I haven’t seen any ads of any kind. That was a year ago.

ads are a plague of the Internet. I’m okay with quality services like youtube, asking for premium payment to get rid of ads. That’s fine. I’m not okay with plethora of sites I visit once a while, that force me ads. So as we r not getting rid of utterly stupid ads (they r good for nothing and mostly don’t work, btw. Okay?), the only choice is an ad blocker. If chrome gone this stupid way – okay, there are more sane ppl at Opera or FF

you can but youtube alows down the site on blockers

Firefox has been better than Chrome since Firefox Quantum release like a decade ago.

(Faster for at least some of that time, too).

I wanna start using Firefox but for some reason whenever I am and I watch twitch it just always stays at 480p there’s no higher resolution options and I haven’t been able to find a solution

I had recurring issues with Chrome not opening webpages or straight up refusing to work so I switched to Firefox years ago.

  15. AshesTheCrow

Went Edge to Firefox and from Spotify t Youtube premium, neat

  16. Zellar123

Its so stupid because the people who put in the effort to block ads are not the ones who are clicking them and spending money.

  17. JohnnyRock30

I never left Firefox. We are not the same.

  18. Hanfiball

Oh no… Chrome which I haven’t used in years because of intense ram usage….oh no

  19. punkinhead76

Can we get by by simply never updating chrome again? lol

  20. Been using Firefox on my personal laptop for 7 years.
