Hi, so i'm in a Quest of playing all God of war games in cronological order and i Just finished the First God of war. Even today It holds up really well, and seeing how Kratos Is introduced in the world of gaming makes It even more interesting. Gameplay wise i have to say combat Is really really fun, i thought that the game was Just to press One button endlessly but its very flawless, you can stack up moves, combine different ones, there's magic and super abilities and overall its very very fun. Some puzzles are very good using different perspectives which i think for the time was mindblowing. And the story Is Just Epic, getting all the background as to why Kratos Is like that, what are his motives and his desires. God of war 1/2 surely need a remastered/remake version because they're the history of PlayStation and gaming in general and Sony has to do something about It seriously. If you've loved the newer God of war games and never played the older games, please do yourself a favor and do It. Believe me you won't regret it

For physical disc, I would recommend getting
– God of war collection have god of war 1 and 2
– God of war origins collection have chains of Olympus and ghost of Sparta

PS4 have god of war 3 remastered already.

How did you manage to play the first one? I’m guessing you needed an emulator or PS plus premium streaming service?
Can they be played on pc?
the greek myth series are better than the scandinavian ones.
