The nostalgia just hit me like a train…
There were auto-fire joysticks too. And the SegaMS fancy auto-fire gamepads worked with the 2600. That was such a strange compatibility that did not appear again until much later.
On pc we have trainers
The ColecoVision controller worked on the Atari 2600. Pressing the left button gave you rapid fire, too.
