I’ve just retired this V at about 1/5th the way through Phantom Liberty – I’ve never gone this deep into a character before and then deliberately bailed. Loved the build and the gamerules I set, but just itching too much to try and build/play a Johnny mnemonic. Anyone else have trouble cutting V’s story short, feel like you’re betraying her/him?

after i beat the fucking game, im playing a netrunner build rn and it is far far worse than my sandy mantis blades build
though it does have its quirks

I stopped my PC play through at Phantom Liberty as well. Moved over to Xbox and wanted to start again.
Had a great time as a Fem V corporate, now back to male nomad
I got half way through a PL playthrough, playing as gorilla knux and got bored 🙁
A bunch of side quests deep and doing the main story enough to unlock PL. Was 86 hours in (a fair amount of that was playing dress up), wanted to restart so I could experience the start of the game on my new pc. Tempted to start over again, even tho my current 78 hour playthrough has been like over 40 hours of dress up and picture taking
When Stadia shut down I was part way through a nomad build 😂
Got to the final mission of Phantom Liberty and died in a Dead Is Dead run. So… that’s the latest for me. XD
Modded my game (no scripts & script extension mods) and the game won’t stop CTD even after making sure my settings were set to where my rig could handle it (ray tracing off obviously & everything set on High). It pissed me off that I rage quit.
And that was 2 days ago. And yes, ALL mods are up to date on my system.
I’ve sided with Songbird multiple times. But only sided with Reed once, and I still haven’t finished Somewhat Damaged. That f@$*ing spider robot scares the sh*t out of me!
Two days ago ,finished all Hands gigs after finishing phantom liberty. It felt like it was time for a break after that (I did all gigs and missions frome the base game too).
I’ve abandoned a playthrough halfway through saving So Mi, first time through. I was max level, fully borged, and had already used my free respec. I had made the character to be the stealthiest I could, but the mission did not allow for stealth at that point, and it was just too hard. I eventually prospered, but just felt I had made the wrong choices, my character was just not good enough to beat this situation, let alone any of the endings where you have to deal with Smasher, so I just restarted.
Cut after starting last mission in original game (haven’t bought dlc yet) because came up with the idea of recreating Victor Tsoy as V after seeing a post on this subreddit.
Johnny Mnemonic build sounds cool, could run a Male Corpo V, Netrunner, wearing a nice suit and tie. And for weapons Pistols and maybe monowire?

I played through on my PC to the start of the final mission back when the game first came out , where you have to choose which ending to pursue. I couldn’t make up my mind and just shut the game off. Since then, my pc broke, I bought a ps5 and Cyberpunk all over again, and still have never gotten to the ending
Right before the end of game heist and another after the credit rolled even though I had a lot more to do. Started a new game for phantom liberty
At the end choice I chose to throw the pills and pick up the gun.
In my mind I wanted to storm Arasaka Tower on my one as true solo.
Let’s just say my character used the gun not the way I wanted 🙂
2e playtrough, like lvl 50 and completed phantom liberty but not the ending, alsways feel like finnishing the ending locks in your decision event tho you can play every ending
I’ve beaten the xenomorph bot before but I forgot to grab the materials for the blackwall hacking because of my heart beating 210bps and now I can’t get over it… so I abandoned that playthrough. It was on my Saka Ninja Build (corpo, netrunner, stealth based, knives)
I was doing a no cyberware run but kinda lost interest right before me and takemura scout out the parade float, idk why tho
Literally saved at the door before the Adam smasher fight in the dont fear the reaper ending, I smoked EVERYthing up until it and smasher just will not die and I die every time. Haven’t played in a month haha
I’ve only had two Vs so far.
My first V started as soon as the game launched. Corpo male. Actually played reasonably far into the game – I remember getting part-way through the Peralezes’ questline, the bathtub scene had just played out in Judy’s apartment, and Wakakao had just given Goro and V the plans for the parade route. I then put the controller down for a few months to let the game cook a little, as whilst it seemed to play pretty well on PC there were clearly a lot of issues that needed fixing.
My 2nd (and current) V is a female blade and quickhack Street Kid. After somewhere in the region of 450-500 hours with her I have completed every single fixer gig, NCPD call, hidden gem encounter, and tarot card in Night City, Dogtown, and the Badlands. I’ve seen the main game through to the Temperance ending, and once Phantom Liberty dropped I jumped straight into it on day one and have played it through to King of Swords.
I’m now in the process of playing through every other main game and Phantom Liberty ending, at which point it’s time to finally lay Street Kid V to rest.
Then I wanna jump straight back in and play a full VR run! 😜

The endings. When all I have left to do is meet up with Hanako, i trnd to dip out and pick up another game for a bit. Roght now, Hanako is waiting while i do another run through The Witcher 3.
