Specs: 4070 Ti super, 14700F, 32gb 5200mhz, 1tb SSD, 850w PSU.
It's no 4090 or whatever, but it works better than I need and expected it to
I got this PC yesterday for my birthday (!!!), unboxed and set it up today. It's my first time owning a desktop, I always had a laptop. I'm coming from a laptop with a 1650, i5-gen 9 Intel, 16gb 3200mhz, 512gb ssd, so this PC is a massive upgrade. My laptop used to run RDR2 at 30 fps for about 20 mins at low-med settings, then dropping to 15 fps. Now, it runs RDR2 at around 160 fps at high/ultra everything, which is just WOW. It looks amazing, and runs better than expected. I'm going to buy a new monitor in a bit with a 165hz ultrwide 1440p display, so I'm excited to see how it looks đŸ˜€
Anything cool I could do with it? Any game recommendations? I'm going to see how it runs heavily modded Minecraft with shaders tomorrow.
Ik it's a prebuilt, I wanted to play it safe with my first desktop (~$2550 CAD w/ tax, btw)

That’s massive 4070 congrats man!
Oh right, I forgot, any advice?
Very nice! That’s a beefy fella for sure! Honestly RDR2 is peak, fantastic game. I still play it just to wander the map and enjoy it in 4K ultra with nearly that same setup. I just have a 14700k instead of f. For game recommendations, maybe Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, and the like?
Get in the Steam store. Mega sale right now. Look at its recommendations and read about them. If it seems interesting, just buy it.
Fans eyes GPU label mouth
lol it’s looking at me!
Thats probably the best gpu you can get cause everything above is too large for your case
Anyone else saw the “O_O”?
And we shall name it DERPUTER!
Does your 14700k not get cooked alive with that single tower air cooler?
Is it legion t5? Im thinking about it npw seems pretty solid….
Take off the label on the side panel
And TI super will always sound goofy to me
