Is it just me or are more games getting more than a year of DLC?

With how games is today is better to buy them 2-4 years later when they patched in to complete game. Like how No man sky and Fallout 76 and Cyberpunk is scrap on launch but after 4-5 years of patches and things they are now better than at launch. Also if you wait 1 year it will be less broken.

My favorite is “buy the game 5 years after release for $4.99 with all the updates and balance changes released, full mod support (and an already-healthy mod community), all the DLC, a map editor, and it runs great on my rig because even my modest hardware is years newer than its requirements”.

Me looking at the summer sale tempted to get assassins creed origins and the Greek one the mass effect legendary edition and far cry 5 and new dawn AND the borderlands 3 deluxe edition. I keep adding $5 bundles with all the dlc 😂
