I don't know much about overclocking. And the GTX 980 is more of a temporary solution.
If I overclock, what settings? And is it even worth it, with modern games. I found this article (from 2014), and the overclocking achieved about 10 more fps. I wanted to ask if I could expect similar results in modern games? (maybe they run differently idk), and what I should look out for if I do overclock.

ocing gpus varys for different ppl, the best setting is what u find urself, msi afterburner, just set up a benchmark like furmark and slowly oc ur gpu, core clock or memory first, increase power limit, and change fan curve if it gets hot,
u should get a 10 fps boost maybe more or less, might improve newer games with low fps to help smooth it out,
older games u won’t notice a thing
