Thematically fitting, but felt disappointing. I wish we could’ve had this happen _after_ they fight the war and gk back to fuck up Monty. I reeeaally wanted to see Samantha do all the shit she said she was gonna do in Alpha Omega.

I feel like the ending we got was always planned to be the ending, its just the journey that led to the ending spoiled it and made it feel unearned

I just made a post about this without noticing this, so I’ll ask here too. Why did Nikolai have to kill the MCs if the Agarthan device already resolved everything.

It was bad and felt improvised, a wish granting artifact feels lazy, and the final map being just some remake instead of something more epic like origins or revelations makes everything worse.

Tag ending > Revelations ending. Play the game for 8 years just for them to come up and say that the characters are trapped on an eternal loop, with the final map being just pieces of the previous maps stitched together by portals and jump pads, with the same boss fight from SoE but easier, really sucked.

To me it just felt like they ran out of ideas and needed an easy way out. Doesn’t help that at that same time they were shoving chaos down our throats.

They had a good story. But you could tell it was rushed.
I think the ending plot-wise was good. But I wish they had made an actual 3D cutscene for everything instead of the stills.
