3. Change its shot type to small twisters that kill before round 50, and make crawlers afterwards

I feel like let it suck as much as it wants but cause and overheat that dosnt last as long as the OG but also it takes a while for it to overheat. They should’ve never made it break into all its pieces just because it overheats

I’d severely increase the power of the thrust mechanic it already has to launch you into the zombies faster. The whole point of the Jet Gun is that it’s an infinite damage, infinite ammo ww, so if you want to keep that concept without making it annoying to use, the one balancing factor you can tweak is to make it dangerous to use.
On top of that, you could use it as an actual turbine to thrust you forwards when facing away from the zombies.

It doesn’t burst into pieces when maxed out on pressure, have a zombie head stuck in it and you have to reverse the flow to blow the head out like a Zeus cannon in a sense. Thing is, it should take a bit to reverse the device. Like a little longer than a Zeus cannon. So it is favorable.

It’d be fine if the durability went 3x slower than it currently does, and cooled down 3x faster as well. I don’t think breaking into pieces is INHERENTLY bad but the gun should be more worth using if it’s going to do that. Better durability is really all it needs.

Let the cooldown process happen while it’s stowed and not exclusively while it’s equipped (also stupid)
Reduce the cooldown length, I get Jet Engines take a fuckload of time to cool IRL, and I get it’s made of literal scrap, but this is a zombie game, take some creative liberties ffs
Give it a restriction on how many times it can overheat, so I can’t be used infinitely, the only way to refresh would be to place it somewhere in the Power Station or Pack-A-Punch, since those would be suitable locations for some strange technology that would facilitate that function – it does need SOME drawbacks after all

Remove the cooldown. Why the hell would you make a wonder weapon that has to be built then make it so it breaks after a few seconds of shooting. It’s absolutely pointless and nothing would be lost by making the main wonder weapon unbreakable with infinite ammo.

Adding a overheat level, that when it overheats it breaks, and then you can just repair (not rebuild) it in any crafting bench that aren’t being used. Simple idea, but way better than they choose lol
