Ever since the May 14 update, Ive been so annoyed getting into close quarter fights and i would lag and stutter horribly while i was aiming at the enemy or making a snapping movement. FPS stayed at steady 130+ but during those fights my 1% lows would hit 7-15%. So I thought my GPU was the cause changed all graphic settings to low and problem still consisted. Windows was due for a reset so reinstalled windows, still had the stutter. checked all settings in options.4.cod23.cst file. this is where things got better?
My processor has 6 cores, and in the past updates the thread worker count was always set on 6.
so i changed
RendererWorkerCount to 3 horrible couldnt even move at times.
RendererWorkerCount from 6 to 8. and no more stuttering. no lag everything is smooth. Never tried going to 7, but for some reason my gpu time is lower by 2ms Gpu utilization same 94-100% and cpu times jump +2 And CPU Utilization is up by 6-10%. GPU temps still hover around 65-70C and CPU temps are still within my 70-80C. Not sure if this is a real fix.
