Its safe to say they were behind the Peralez incident. You can find multiple hints to them doing some sort of mind control experimentation. And by the looks of it. They are more powerful then anyone or anything. Cant wait for the sequels.

Indeed. If you pay attention you can also see the person involved with NC spying on you during the Peralez mission, as well as in Phantom Liberty when you’re dealing with Songbird. They’re also the one that calls you at the end of the Peralez mission to warn you about interfering. They’re also the contact who set up Songbird’s travel to the Moon. And in one ending of the game, you get to meet with them and get a final gig from them to go into space for a mission.

Apparently there was a Moon DLC that CDPR was making that got cancelled, so one can speculate that perhaps that DLC was to involve this individual and Nightcorp further.

  2. If you take a closer look, Night Corp is basically behind everything in Night City almost from the very beginning. They were literally in charge of all these construction works after that nuke bombing in 2023. The way they bought NC metro system is also sus. They literally had MaxTac on their payroll. And their netrunners (if mr. B.E. works for Night Corp) immediatеly took their chance to steal info from Arasaka when V and Alt break its security system. Its also sus that Orbital Air sees them, a small municipal contractor from Night City, as a biggest threat in Night City, immediately accusing them of attack on the spaceport in that ending with saving So Mi.

Also, this shard here is hella suspicious: https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Truth_hidden_in_plain_sight. Especially this part: “How do we know if Militech, Arasaka or Night Corp haven’t breached it [The Blackwall] to contact the other side?”.

We find out in PL, that Militech is actually trying to breach the Blackwall. Thanks to Edgerunners anime we know that Arasaka has its plans as well. But Night Corp? Night Corp? Again, the company, whose official main area of activity is providing municipal services to NC? Wtf?

(Its also pretty fun that the first actual gig we can do in the game — saving Sanra Dorsett — is connected with Night Corp. And the endings as well— I am not kidding. If we dont choose suicide one, siding with Arasaka (Devil) or Militech (Tower, NUSA basically equals Militech), our ending are connected with Night Corp. Sun for obvious reasons, but Star as well — Night Corp owns the tunnel we use while riding away and we gеt information about Night Corp in our in-game encyclopedia in this very ending. Sus? Sus for sure.)

I also dont think blue eyes is an AI, or Robot, or anything crazy. I think hes in the Night bloodline. Either a son, a grandson, somebody.

Night Corp possibly is behind murder of former mayor. No hard evidence can be found, but it would be logical to remove a savvy politian (former mayor Lucius Rhyne) that can win elections and instead leave in same place incompetent yes-man (former deputy Weldon Holt). So now Night Corp controled candidate (Peralez) has very strong chance of winning the election and becoming mayor.

Look into 2079 that is granted by Tower ending, shows what happens if V never tells Peralez about “them”. He is an anti-corporate, pro-independence mayor that weakeness corporate security forces and makes internal law enforcement (NCPD) stronger. What controled by “them” Peralez does is wierdly is in line with goals of Richard Night (creator of Night City, supposely assassnated by who knows if it was not faked).

Method is abhorent, but goal (to create Richard’s Night vision of “perfect city”) seemed to be good. So, it would be classic trope of good intentions with morally evil methods.

Yeah, but as the designated Conspiracy Corp, they’re never going to take over entirely and put the entire world in a stranglehold- or Are They!?

I think in Orion Night Corp will play the role of “the big bad evil corporation that needs to be destroyed” just like it was for Arasaka in CP2077.

  7. NemVenge

But … but … but tehy just lowered the mandatory workweek to just 80 hours. They can’t be that bad, right?

  8. Present-Fly7959

I like how V either indirectly/directly always ends up helping Night Corp in all the good endings of the game by destroying Arasaka and their project Mikoshi.

But in the bad endings either Mr Blue Eyes (Night Corp affiliated for sure) gets fucked >![Giving Songbird to Reed]!< or >!Arasaka becomes stronger and Mikoshi doesn’t get destroyed!<

  9. An AI faction is using Nightcorp for their purposes and Night City will be their base of operations.
