That’s an iconic quality of that sword, Byakko. You can sort of imitate it with the Flash and Thinderclap perk
I’m pretty sure it’s a glitch as sometimes I just teleport and appear next to my target in literally 1 frame. It would happen relatively frequently for me (as in, triggers about once every 5 fights or so?) but I couldn’t pin down a cause.
It made me wonder though, is there a speedrunning community for cyberpunk? Seems like the kind of thing they would love. otoh it doesn’t seem like a really fun game to speedrun.
Btw this was a relatively tame example. Other times I would go like double or triple this distance in one dash and it would lock onto some rando at the back of the pack.
Pretty sure it’s a bug, it happens often when there are many enemies.
There’s a perk called “Mad Dash” that gives you 100% dash range towards enemies. If there’s an enemy on your crosshair while you’re dashing, you will go right in front of them
