After getting my new Legion 7i a month ago, I stumbled onto this subreddit and was inspired by the battlestation setups, so I decided to get one of my own. I was fortunate to find monitors (well, a TV and a monitor) locally (I’m in the Caribbean) that were exactly what I wanted, and were on sale to boot. Other options were either non-existent, too expensive, or not suitable for me (e.g. I could have gotten a 55″ TV for the same price as 43″, but that would have been *way* too big for my desk).
I just got the plant (a Chinese bamboo) today and decided to finally post. It’s not as fancy as some of the other setups here, but it works for me.
This is *technically* meant for work and play, but so far it’s just for play/home use. I do start a new job soon that says I should be working from home quite a bit, but I don’t know if I’ll incorporate that into this set up or just get a secondary setup (the desk is actually two 5′ desk joined with an L connector, but the second desk, to the left of the one shown, is not really utilized right now). It will depend on if I’ll be able to get my hands on a suitable KVM switch, and/or if my new job will be sending home monitors for me to use. Either, I’m *prepared*.
