I really liked that game. Thought it was treated unfairly. Then again, I rented it and finished over a weekend. Good value for $5, not for a full price though

I played it eventually after my one of my friends went on and on about how amazing a console exclusive it was. It was…fine. Surprised Sony hasn’t tried to do a cheap PC port of it by now and release it at a value price since as I understand it it didn’t quite make back its budget.

It was mostly techno graphic demo, and it done its job, its make so much of boost for another projects, because everyone want visuals like the order. Maybe its not great gameplay, but it give big step for games.

Imagine you’re this game, a Victorian fantasy game with werewolves and shit, and you’re all in on cinematic experience, and you launch as a PS4 exclusive and everyone says “well it’s pretty but also it’s pretty short and basically just okay”.
And then one month later Bloodborne comes out.

Well yes but Sony went nope and released another game a month after with werewolves and other shit and that game went on to become one of the best in the world.

It really was fantastic and I never understood the hate this game received. I think it was mostly the $60 price tag that gave it a bad rep. It’s a shame we will never see a sequel.

Excellent game, my only nitpick being it was way too short for a full-priced AAA title.
