Just got the Deepcool Assassin IV and heard about them getting sanctioned by the us government. Would that impact my ability in the future to get a warranty claim or get support?
The retention frame for my AK620 broke after installing it on a new mobo so I contacted support to try and get a replacement since the cooler still has a year of warranty.
4 business days later (this all happened about 1-2 days after the news broke out) and I still haven’t gotten a response. I ended up just buying a Peerless Assassin because I don’t expect ever getting a response.
You can’t even buy any of their products anymore off Amazon in the US. The only DeepCool listings are 3rd party resellers. It seems their entire US division got dissolved and are no longer selling or offering support/warranty in the US.
Sucks for the people like me who lost their warranties or haven’t gotten their free AM5 bracket for if they upgrade to AM5 down the road.

They were caught selling banned hardware to Russia. In response they dissolved their US operations.
You have no warranty.

You will not have a warranty because they cannot operate in the US. Imagine they went backrupt, they’re gone

How did you “get it” in the US? They’re no longer being listed on MicroCenter, Amazon, and Newegg

I *almost* bought an LT720, but glad I went with an Arctic Freezer III. Roommate bought an LT720, though, and now he’s *stuck* stuck with it
I am curious if they could open up a base of operations in Europe or Canada and have a 3rd party ship their product into USA in some way? Would increase costs by quite a bit, so even so I’m not sure if it would be feasible to them.
I have a Deepcool PQ750M, I should be fine in Canada though, right?
I bought it because it was A tier on the PSU tier list

I purchased a DeepCool LT720 AIO back in April. The pump died about 2 weeks ago. Created an RMA claim with DeepCool. Tuesday was the last email I received. Before that, it was daily emails regarding the problem. I finally went back to Amazon, and they did offer me a refund even though it had been 60 days.
