Miyazaki ‘went a little too far’ with Elden Ring’s poison swamps but says he learned a lesson, which unfortunately is that he needed to come up with new and different ways to kill everyone

Well, Miyazaki sure knows how to keep things interesting! Poison swamps may be a pain, but hey, at least we’re not bored, right?

They went a little too far with a lot of things in Elden Ring, hopefully their next game is more contained, more along the lines of Sekiro. Elden Ring is the first time that I’ve really just had zero interest in playing one of From Software’s DLCs.

The poison is annoying. It’s the scarlet rot that goes too far.
