If you change 1900s to 2010s then Metro 2033 and The Last of Us very much apply

SMT will always have 1990s vibes for me.

Why do people use 1900s instead of 20th century? As someone of 20th century birthday I’m not a Victorian 😄

Anyhow, the Bioshock series is a bit alternate history – Bioshock Infinite really leans into this

The Resistance series I think! Instead of WWI and WWII they got a full on alien invasion

For cyberpunk it was around 1992.

I’d put the Metro series in there as there’s a divergence in 2012 due to the nuclear war.

As for 20th century: Wasteland series comes to mind. Has all the Fallot vibes, except the world stuck in early 90s instead of 60s.

So many games count, I think even every Call of Duty would count, technically speaking.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R – The Chernobyl incident happened much earlier and the Ukrainian government is trying to keep it from contaminating outside the Zone.
