Hey guys,

I have an EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 XC3 Gaming Ultra and I know that the max tempature on it is 93 °C according to VideoCardz.net and the max VRAM tempature is at 110°C but what temps does the card start to thermal throttle at? Does anyone have any sources?

  1. They reduce their clock and voltage slightly around every 10c, so colder always translates into being a bit faster. Lower temperature also leads to less current and thus power usage at a given voltage and clock, so causes less power throttling.

first boost bin is around 30C gpu core temp so unless you use sub ambient cooling your GPU always throttles.
