At least you have a laptop bro, in the future I would invest in a ups, not only are they handy when power goes out, they also mitigate voltage drops and voltage spikes that could be harmful. If you had one before hand your pc would have probably survived. Just some food for thought👌
How did a lightning storm destroy it? Did you not have it on a surge protector?
