Just arrived and took it out of the box and saw this

    Some 24 pin plugs have that pin, some don’t. It’s fine when it’s not there. That pin doesn’t actually get used for anything afaik.

    It used to be a -5v rail. It isn’t used by anything manufactured in this century.

    Next time you see one you’ll usually see a missing pin where it’s sposed to go on the board as well like with RGB.

    Pc building is completely just expensive lego

    For reference, a search or the group shows it being asked twice this week before this one.

    It *could* be a dead pin. Is there a wire going into that hole from the back side or do you see a wire dangling from the wire harness anywhere?
