The game that is literally a never-ending scam is complaining about integrity? 😂

  2. ItsOnlyaFewBucks

Skin sales must be slowing down? Need to get the diehards to rebuy everything.

  3. Prophesy78

Suspended, not banned. Gotta keep those wallets open.

“It shows a real lack of integrity when you keep your money and don’t give it to me.”

Here at Tegrity studios, we are proud of our hard work to deliver exactly what we promised to our supporters without taking shortcuts, missing deliveries or cutting corners. We would never dream of milking our playerbase and stringing them along for as long as possible. Complete Tegrity.

    Integrity of what game?

    Game where?

    Scam Citizen lmao

  7. JustSome70sGuy

Every online game does this. Why is this news? Is this just so everyone can have another hate wank over star citizen?

  8. 8bitzombi

Raising funds and making promises to meet deadlines and then being over decade late on on meeting those deadlines while still continuing to crowd fund and push back the goal post for completion indefinitely seems a lot like “cheating and exploiting.”

  9. marniconuke

If they undermine the integrity of their game why did they suspend them instead of banning them? it really shows the integrity of the devs

  10. Entire_Analysis_8821

Is there any implied integrity in a game in permanent alpha release? It’s an alpha, of course there are exploits and bugs.

  11. AmazingDevo

600 people are still playing/paying for this??

  12. thejazzghost

Is Star Citizen a playable game already? I thought it was famously in development for years upon years?

  13. the_Athereon

Same with my Elite Dangerous account. Used some cheats to make dogfights NPCs easier (I specifically only ever played in PVE servers) and was suspended on the grounds that I was unfairly influencing the ingame market.

I still play. On the same account. But now I very rarely fight anything unless I feel like it.

  14. Anubra_Khan

Good thing it’s in alpha and will never be released as a full game.

  15. ZombiePope

This is a shit title. They were exploiting a duping bug to sell gold.

  16. montybo2

NGL i kept reading this as starfield and was like TF??? WHo cares?? Its a fucking single player game…. I now realize my mistake.

Laughable that a game that got nearly a billion in crowd funding over the last 10 years and has absolutely no release in sight is talking about integrity.

  17. BluntyTV

“INTEGRITY”…. these people thing they have “INTEGRITY”???

    HAHAHAHAHAHAAHahahahahhahaahahAHAHAHHAAHhahzhaahahahhahaah ****gaaaaaaaasp*** ahhahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAhahahAHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahhahahahahahahahaHAHHAAHHAHahHHaAHaHaaaaAhHAHHAHahaAhAhAHHAAHAhA…

  18. Tamotefu

    They spelt the name wrong.

Its *Store* Citizen. Its not a game until it’s for sale. This development black hole shouldn’t exist.

  19. Walt-Dafak

    Cheaters should be punished legally.

Devs should have the balls to ban the players from the 2 country that cheat the most. Yes, you know which ones.

(What are they gonna do? They’re not even supposed to bypass their restrictions using a vpn anyway.)

  20. Proper-Pineapple-717

No one likes cheaters, but idk if they should ban the only people dumb enough to give them money.

  21. polymorph505

Welcome to what happens when video games attempt to have a real economy tied to them. No doubt Chris thinks this time will be different lol.

  22. How long did it take them to fix the known dupe?

  23. Trickybuz93

“We’re the only ones that can cheat and exploit!”

  24. MortimerCanon

The article didn’t answer this question: Did CIG also fix the bugs?
It sounds like ships duping and “a bug which basically enables players to sell cargo more than once.” were the major issues that players took advantage of. The ship duping thing seems to be a massive headache for everyone. Is that stuff fixed?

  25. dalarrin

    Real title should be
“Game that resets player progress every few months is suspending players that grind their currency in an effort to push more of them to pay for bundles that give permanent currency instead”

  26. Rombledore

these MFers are charging *thousands* of real live dollars for ships and have the gaul to be upset when people exploit for in game currency.

i’m not convinced yet that Star citizen isn’t a giant scam.

  27. Gustavo13

they should be rewarded for finding a glaring bug/exploit for the glorified alpha of a game

  28. kunstlinger

No one scams the scammers and gets away with it

  29. Suspended in an ” alpha ” where catching bugs is the point. Who cares if exploits happen at this stage just Fix it asap and move on.

  30. pocketMagician

Only Star Citizen is allowed to scam its customers.
