Can someone explain what ‘‘Us in the Middle’’ represents?

I know ‘‘The Place Above Creation’’ is Agartha, where Monty and the Keepers reside.
I also know ‘‘The Place Below Creation’’ is the Dark Aether.. I'm just confused on ‘‘Us in the Middle.’’

So is it Earth? The normal Aether? Or does the Aether encompass Agartha as well?

I couldn't find a solid answer on the wiki.
