I love how it didn’t start that way. He was arguably a pretty terrible dad at first (especially considering he murders his first child). But over time he realizes he cannot just keep an emotional distance from his son just because of his own past.

The evolution of Kratos and GoW is really remarkable. The Norse mythology change I was really uncertain about but I ended up loving it and loved the fact they changed to combat up to be more methodical and strategic but not quite like a Fromsoft game (Fromsoft is my favorite company) so it still feels unique to GoW
