Doom 64, while certainly more advanced technically, looks worse aesthetically than Doom 1-2.

If that’s the Playstation port, you’re in for a treat. It’s an amazing game.
Also, fun fact that a lot of folks don’t know. Many people think Doom 64 is simply a port of Doom to the N64 but it’s not. It is actually it’s own standalone game and part of the Doom canon.

It looked cheaper than the PC games but gameplay-wise it was quite good, probably a better Doom than Final Doom (don’t get me started on Plutonia). Midway knew what they were doing, surprisingly. I’m glad it got more exposure with the remaster.

I completed recently , it’s a great game.

Haven’t played this in a long time. Had so much fun playing it back in the day though. Might have to revisit it soon.

My screen flipped upside down and I was like what’s 49 Wood?

It does a number of things I don’t like to Doom but it’s a very interesting and playable port.

I replayed this about four years ago. I always liked it, and I think the soundtrack is great.

This game no joke has some of the creepiest background “music” of anything I think I’ve ever played
Some levels are just wildly unnerving when you’re just strolling around trying to figure out where to go and you hear crying for a moment
Nope
