If i remember correctly, if you get a Insta kill and don’t use it for the remainder of the power up, the next Insta kill you get will be a red one, I think it stays for way longer than a regular instakill but could be wrong

Bo2 perma perk kinda thing, something like getting an instakill power up and not using it or taking damage gives you a red instakill (every time you get a normal one too) until you take damage during an instakill, then you will lose the red one. Might not be 100% accurate but that’s as best i remember it 😂

As others have said, it is the insta-kill perma perk.
God, the perma perks in BO2 were such a cool concept but so incredibly infuriating to try to remember how to get them or if you had them right. Good times.

It’s the instakill perma perk. It lasts for 15 seconds and whenever a zombie touches you it dies.
