Kind of a piss off, really. Was hyped up for this game, but me thinks I'll stick with FighterZ and Budokai Collection on PS3.

PC player so I would much rather have destructibility and aura affects over splitscreen but I think its cool they found a workaround and hope they create more basic stages to have some variety

  2. I‘m not going to stick with fighterZ or a ps3 games because of this frankly.

we’ll see with times, maybe they will improve this aspect, but don’t purchase on an eventuality, at least we know in advance

thing is, SF6, tekken 8, riot versus game, Dbz Sparking Zero…

there’s a LOT of competition so it’s up to them to convince people

I’m surprised to see them make such an effort to bring it to one map, I figured it was more of a design direction vs a limitation until this. r/PS5 was speculating (read: blaming) the Series S being a weaker bottleneck that Xbox requires feature parity for; I wonder how applicable that is for this game, I know it was a big deal for BG3. I never really played the Tenkaichi series splitscreen though, so I’ll be excited either way!

Damn, all 5 people who still use split screen to op are probably pissed

I personally think they could have left it off entirely but I welcome it either way

  6. Let’s be really honest with ourselves here. There is not that many people out there that are going to play split screen anyway. Sure, there will be a few edge cases with families but one map should be more than enough if they can use every character on it.

Plus, I’m sure if they get some kind of built in stat tracker information as time goes on and they see enough of a sample size they’ll add it to more.

But saying its a “piss off” or a deal breaker is laughable to me. I doubt you would even use the splitscreen to begin with. Its just creating fake outrage over the most tiny detail. We live in an online, fully connected world. I would say 80% of the audience of this game will be playing it online with friends. Another 15% playing solo anyway.

I get the feeling anyone trying to bait more outrage over this just wanted a DB FighterZ 2 or more DLC for the first one. They didn’t get it so now they’re trying to find any reason to shit on this game despite it being something almost the entire fanbase has wanted for years.

What a downgrade. Even PS2 could do this.

  8. As someone who’s gonna have a roommate again for the first time in a few years, this bums me out a bit.
