Only regret is getting the fans with the case, they are loud. Bought a Noctua NF-P12 for the rear fan and love it.

The build looks great. And I feel ya, this hobby isn’t cheap. But definitely is worth it if you can build something to last you years.
$2000 should have a 4080super at least.
1000watt psu for a 600watt system
64gb of ram when you only need 32gb.

I’ve had the same 750w psu running 3060, 3060ti, 6800, 4070 and now a 7900xt there’s no reason to be using 1000w psu on a 4070 build. I also have had the same 32gb of ram for the last 5 years which have went through every upgrade and 3 motherboards with countless cpu changes.
You spent way more trying to be “overkill” on things that didn’t need to be rather than on things that matter like the gpu.
I have about 1.5k in my mini itx build with better specs

Solid build, a little overpriced? yes. But it’s still gonna last you ALONG time. The only thing overkill is the ram. It’s a build that you can upgrade your GPU anytime and not worry about anything else.

You can always set fan curves manually in the bios based on your usage. You have plenty of headroom at the PSU and RAM to not touch those for years to come if future upgrades are planned. Enjoy the build!

It’s a nice setup and it will last you some. You can always upgrade the fans later, OR upgrade the cooling to an AIO setup. The possibilities are endle$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I’m still debating parts for my next rig and it’s very close to the parts you’ve selected. For some time i was going with the 14700KF.. and a B790 mobo… but was convinced it would run a lot hotter than an AMD CPUs… so I switched to the 7900xt and a B650 mobo. . With a RTX4070 ti, 1TB NVMe and 1000w PS. . Haven’t decided on a case yet. LoL

Nice.. I have that same cooler, but the guy helping me installed it pointing vertically (air coming from bottom and leaving out the top), instead of horizontally… it’s been keeping the cpu cold and everything has been working fine 🤷🏻♂️
Looks dope! I think you should be able to rotate the CPU cooler fans to hide the wires a bit if you want them to look a bit cleaner.

I love reddit and got what I was expecting haha I appreciate all the feedback and enthusiasm. The $2000 includes a ton of storage and OS. Yall definitely go for bang for buck, which I like. I definitely went over kill on psu but justified if I ever upgrade. Luck for me this is a tax write-off, so well spent in my book! Love you guys.
