Check out this: UP.Fit just introduced the first-ever Tesla Cybertruck police car. When I first saw it, I thought it was a scene from a sci-fi movie or TV show. It's turning heads and generating a lot of buzz, especially among law enforcement agencies in California. What do you think about this futuristic police cruiser?

I would have chosen a car that could drive on gravel without voiding the warranty, personally

Oh god no, please no. those agencies are dumb. We need cheap, reliable vehicles that can be heavily modified and driven into the ground lol. Plus I just don’t think EV tech is ready for emergency response. We leave those vehicles running for a whole shift, multiple shifts per day. The power supply just isn’t there yet.

Only positive I’ll give it is that it looks like the back seat is roomy. So probably room to fit a cage and have decent prisoner compartment

I’ll stick with my boring Tahoe and Explorer

Take a Cyber truck, smack some off the shelves lights on, voila, new product. Is it so easy?

  4. if they can afford to spend that much money on a patrol car, they’ve got too much money to spend. Assuming you trust it, I mean.

  5. Do cops get the normal cypertruck or an exclusive extra model that acutally works?

And it’s just as soul crushing as we thought it’d be

Lets just hope they don’t need to do any actual policing.

Can’t wait until they try to do traffic patrol & run people over because those things have shit visibility. Think buying cybertrucks is expensive? Now think about all the civil suits your PD will be causing 🙂

Nothing about this is actually cyberpunk.

These will be super effective, actually.

The convulsions of laughter will incapacitate any suspects trying to flee these stupid vehicles.
