Deadshot in BO1-BO3 never increased damage, the comment must have been misinformed. It just gives additional aim assist for controller players and increased hipfire accuracy. It’s only with BO4’s modifier slot and Cold War that they added the damage buff for every consecutive headshot
No this isn’t true. In BO1-BO3 all it did was reduce hipfire and change the aim assist location, among other smaller things.
BO4 was the first game to let Deadshot do more critical damage, but only in the Modifier. Cold War onwards it’s a staple ability for Deadshot.
