6 months ago when I built my computer, I purchased a set of 32 gigs (2X16) memory for my new z790 and 13700K. A few weeks ago I purchased a matching set to fill out the 64. It took about a week or two before I noticed my XMP has been disabled. Attempting to turn it on gives an overclock failure on boot.
Is it possible to manually set the individual clock speed in timing for each RAM a slot to run at rated speeds or am I SOL?

Also another curiosity, is it possible that the physical arrangement of the memory would make a difference? Currently the arrangement is
ABAB
Would it make a difference if I arrange the memory
AABB
Yes, but start with looser timings unless running gear down
