it was a real cheap ARM back in the days now they make decent chips (dunno what that one is) they are still used in generic android tablets, if the tablet isnt snap dragon, its liekly a mediatek chip

Its basically a Cortex A53 and a Cortex A73 slapped into a single die with an iGPU. Those two CPUs are common in low-and-mid-range smartphones and have 4 cores at 2Ghz each for 8 total in a big.LITTLE arrangement, so itll use A53s for low demand situations and use A73s for performance.
Without knowing other specs I cant really predict its performance, but if youre looking for something basic that can do web browsing, video calls and other light workloads it should be decent. If a smartphone can do it, then this thing can do it.

Seems a bit heavy and not cheap for some e-waste? Heavy as a midrange laptop, 3.44 lbs.
At least if it had UFS instead of EMMC storage.
I did not know MediaSlowTek Chromebooks are already available to waste money on.
