I think Shadow of the Erdtree is more of an expansion. Still, From Software is one of the few companies that still handle that so well. Otherwise Cyberpunk 2077 was the last game I’ve bought that provided a substantial expansion to it.

can we please stop worshipping elden ring and all the other dark souls games? They are nothing new, nothing special, nothing groundbraking, nothing innovative. Its straight up copy-pasta, like every other “openworld rpg”. The whole game revolves around its rolling mechanics. I mean like, doenst it get boring to roll over the floor for 20minutes in a boss fight? People really come at me and tell me how hard elden ring and all the other dark souls games are. I never played them, but from watching a few hours of their gameplay i can say: They definitly dont look hard. What makes it look hard is that this shit looks clunky AF, no smooth animations, shitty camera angle etc. But a game where u dodge dmg/stuns with rolling on the floor? Na get the fk out, its a game made for kids with some average graphics.
Tbf they are also charging more money for their DLC compared to the standard price

Are we watching the same videos? People were only allowed to play for 3 hours, were limited to the first area, and weren’t allowed to record their own video. I’m sure it will be great, but right now we only have Fromsoftware’s word on the actual scope of the DLC.
Tbh, now Activision and Bandai Namco are looking similar, old souls games are hardly on sale, and when they are, it’s only 50%…oh the sins they are going through bc of Elden Ring, fortunately played all of them on console first day, and when moving to PC, wanted to give another go, but it’s not worth buying at high price when previously they were really cheap.
