It’s not, nor was if ever, the canonical Nacht bunker. It’s a purposely placed EE meant to be found should one choose to build the Jet Gun (and do the main quest). It’s fanservice, yes, but it’s also a last-stand spot for any and all players. Nothing was teleported through time and space; the devs had a huge map and capitalized on inserting the OG map. End of story.

There shouldn’t be a more reason. They should be able to have fun little Easter eggs in maps like this but the community went so Ultimo Pepe Silvia early on the Blundell eventually made sure that everything had some kind of explanation for some reason, even retconningnold stuff
