I need to jump back in. I’m just not thrilled by this switch to smaller, more frequent expansions with no elite specs. Feels like a switch to the same model I dislike ESO for.

Oh, the Janthir Wilds Expansion in Guild Wars 2? That’s where the real adventure begins! New zones to explore, epic quests to conquer, and probably some crazy new creatures to battle.

Are there still meta events? That’s all I liked doing in the game. I hated the raids and fractals.
Just jumping from map to map doing zone wide events and bosses with everyone. Gathering materials along the way.

GW2 is still around?! That’s insane. I was doing QA work for NCSoft back when this launched. That feels like a lifetime ago.

one of the best games i’ve played after dropping WoW… depite the graphics being old even back 8-7 years ago. As I see they still not improved on the graphics.. which is understandable because of the old spagetthi code… hey.. at least stories are good…

First impressions:
If the housing system is well thought out and anywhere close to what they did with mounts, this could be a great expansion.
The environment doesn’t seem too exotic, but I do like the mountainous/wilderness setting.
If we get a solid story, a good few metas, a new raid, and hopefully an exciting housing system this could be a good year for gw2.
