I would love to see Naughty Dog tackle a science fiction horror game something along the lines of the first Alien film, or they could even go with a more lighthearted route with something similar to that firefly series. I just think they would handle a sci-fi setting really well and create some amazing stories in it.
I honestly still think about them as the Uncharted studio.
Feels like I see more Neil Druckmann than anything else from that studio now
He also said that AI will ideally be used to do 50% of the work during game development, meaning he’s ok with layoffs. So screw him.

Hmmm interesting. I’ve always associated them with Crash Bandicoot and nothing else.
Nope he’ll just another game with a similar feel. Look I like narrative driven stories as much as the next person but current Naughty Dog stuff has trouble understanding that for video games you do have to sack immersion in some parts. For example Last of Us P2 Ellie’s gameplay being disconnected from her half of the story.

Remake/remaster studio
I was happy after the first game. I enjoyed the second and certainly don’t require a third story wise but if it’s made I will have to play it to see where they go with it…I’m still waiting for the price of the original remake to be at sensible levels as here in Aus its still over $70 to play and im not going anywhere near that
Maybe they shouldn’t have wasted resources on a pointless remake and remaster for games that were easily accessible already and in perfect playing condition then.

Id love for that to be true, but I honestly think it’s more up to Sony than anyone at Naughty Dog.
