I know I’m late to the party but I re acquired bo3 a while ago and I began to complete easter eggs since I found that really fun. Now I’m looking for which map to buy next. Was thinking either gorod or revelations but I’m open to listen to opinions
* Zetsubou gives you the story continuation and serves as a decent but difficult sequel to DE.
* Gorod is the last completely original Treyarch map that matches the quality of maps set before it.
* Revelations is the easiest map by far, but it also has plenty of replayability that makes it enjoyable on its own.
* Zombies Chronicles gives you 8 maps for a good price that supplies the full zombies experience.
I’d go in reverse order of what I listed above. ZC gives more content for your buck, Revelations is a great map for casual fun, Gorod is a good mix of both, and Zetsubou is a strong challenge.
The Giant is just a bonus map at this point. If you liked Der Riese prior, TG is great.

I’d get all of them honestly. They’re bangers. Moon is probably my personal favorite.

If you’re looking for non-Zombies Chronicles suggestions, I would heavily recommend Gorod Krovi. The Easter egg is masterfully intertwined with normal gameplay. You’ll find yourself accidentally completing certain steps just by playing the game. The map is also fairly sized and easy to memorize.
If you’re looking for Zombies Chronicles suggestions, I would obviously recommend Origins. It’s a classic. Treyarch did that map a great service by porting it over to the BO3 engine.

i’d get Chronicles. 8 awesome maps that can never go wrong. Other than that I’d probably say ZNS. It’s criminally underrated but kinda challenging

ZNS is good but takes a material time investment to learn, Gorod will be fun right away and easy to learn

TL;DR Revelations or if you want a fun challenge Gorod Krovi!
I played Revelations the most, pretty easy map and I can understand why some people hate it but I can also understand why some people absolutely love it. Revelations and Shadow Of Evil or whatever the main free map called are the best imho. Der Eisendrache is fun but I hate snow, replayability is high because of bows, Zetsobu is hard with the quests/EE, Gorod Krovi is actually pretty fun, but a bit hard I’d go for Gorod or Revelations. Zombie Chronicles is fun too, or whatever the bo1+orogins map dlc is called, but its loterally just bo1 maps I’d rather play those in bo1. I’m also mad they didnt add Five to bo3 I would’ve played an extra 100 hours if Five were to be in BO3. Extremely underrated map, the rest are meh, Moon was always a meh for me tbh, origins is the best there with replayibility because of the staffs.

You already have DE, that’s the only one worth it (sure there’s ZC, but still)

Either in order or if you want get yourself warmed up with the chroncals

Ngl all of them are worth it. Personally I think the Giant has the best value since it’s so cheap, but Zombies Chronicles DLC gives you a bunch of older maps
