Well, I played for some days and honestly: it's quite fun!
I love playing as Stuh in this map and hearing the cries of pain of the zombies, the atmosphere in the map is just muah, really makes you feel entrapped, without hopes of surviving the apocalypse. We can see mattresses around the map, showing that some survivors where being creative in ways of navigating the destroyed buildings, and the SDC zombies and Chinese citizens look terrifying! (Their armor even works!) The wonder weapon is very unique and powerfull and (unlike tranzit) it doesn't break
The only bad parts about this map imo is who's who and the kinda long setup process, but then you get your sliquy, Pap'ed AN94 and another weapon of your choice (via mule kick) its honestly a good apocalyptic experience

Honestly I understand the general hate for this map. It can be frustrating when you spend 30 minutes setting up and then you fall off the map lmao.
But I personally love this Die Rise. I enjoy the atmosphere, the sliquifier, the jumping jack nova crawlers, Who’s Who’s jingle, and everything else. I remember my best friend makes jokes about the number 69 all the time and so I got it to round 69 on Die Rise for the meme. He passed away a few years ago but I have good memories playing Die Rise with him. I’ll never not enjoy playing it.
