Paint progress. I went with a shade of brown for the accent wall and then white for the rest (Later I’m going to go over some of the trim on things like the closet and change them to brown as well:)
I wanted them to offset the white of the walls, match my butcher block desk, and with the one above the TV I wanted ot to “shade” the TV so that the backlights on it stand out more. Worked out well, IMO:
Ovverall it was a fun project and I’m glad I did it. It’s really nuts how building my dream PC turned into me getting my dream custom desk (96″ x 30″ real butcher block from a local woodworking company with drawers from my old desk and 2 in spacers) and that turned into me completely redoing my office. Painting itself is easy but I swear it’s 90% prep and that’s also the part that sucks.

I hated the colors and wanted to turn the room into something that “fit” my build, desk, etc. more and I’m happy with how it turned out.
